WEIRD

Aligning the events of your life
the letters that cluster densely
scatter hither and thither.
in those lines with recollections surfacing
you sink deep
When you feel those lines written by ink
the memories pulling you inside
hastily untangling your fingers, you look around.
At that instant your heartbeats race and
you have to face it.
When you pick up those words all too lovingly
and kiss them
they would pervade your breath.
Feeling it to be creeping on you and quivering and jerking
you tear to pieces its face
warmly embedded in your palms
and throw it to the winds.
Flying above the head

the way they go on sowing all kinds of fantasies
with innumerable permutations and combinations
is weird indeed.

கைகளால் தடவிப்பார்க்கும்போது
நினைவுகள் உள் இழுக்க,
பதைப்புடன் வேகமாக விரல்களை உருவிக்கொண்டு
சுற்றும் முற்றும் பார்க்கின்றீர்கள்.
அப்போது உங்களின் இதயத் துடிப்பு அதிகமாவதை
நீங்கள் எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
அந்தச்சொற்களை அள்ளி எடுத்து உச்சி முகர்கையில்
சுவாசத்தில் ஊடுருவும் அவை
உங்கள் மேல் ஊர்வதாய் உணர்ந்து சிலிர்த்து உதறி,
கைகளில் அழுந்தப் படிந்த அதன் முகத்தை
சுக்குநூறாகக் கிழித்து
காற்றில் எறிகின்றீர்கள்.
