 DEAR BROTHERS, IF YOU HAPPEN TO MEET MY MOTHER….

Dear brothers, if you happen to meet my mother,
please tell her
that in order to preserve her dreams
I am striving hard here
as a sparrow hanging suspended
on the brink of life.

Even after eight thousand nights
Now the time is all set for the sun
to rise for us
Hence, my dear brothers,
ask her to bear with hunger
a little more.

To those parrots that even today come
and sit in the trees
with roots decayed
and to my dear mother
say all too loudly
that henceforth it would be the time of fruits.

Therefore my dear brothers,
tell everybody
to turn hunger into a sharp weapon
That would straighten the eyes and
lead Hope towards future.

That weapon would
bring back the lost foliage of our life.

So my dear brothers,
Tell my mother who waits
famished
that her food is ready
for harvesting.

சகோதர்களே, பசியுடன் என் தாயை சந்திக்க நேர்ந்தால்...
சகோதர்களே, பசியுடன் என் தாயை சந்திக்க நேர்ந்தால் அவளுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்
அவளது
கனவுகளை காப்பதற்காக
நான்
வாழ்வின் அந்தர நுனியில்
சிட்டுக்குருவியென
பாடுபட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என்று
எண்ணாயிரம் இரவுகளுக்குப்
பின்னும்
நமக்கென
ஒரு சூரியன் எழுவதற்கான
காலம் கனிந்துள்ளது
அதனால்
சகோதர்களே,
பசியை பொறுத்துக் கொள்ளுமாறு
அவளுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்
வேர்கள் கருகி செத்த
மரங்களில்
இன்றும்
நம்பிக்கையோடு
வந்தமரும்
கிளிகளுக்கும்,
அம்மாவுக்கும்
பெரும் சத்தத்தோடு கூறுங்கள்
கனிகளின்
காலம் தொடங்கிவிட்டது என்று
ஆதலால்
சகோதர்களே
எல்லோருக்கும் கூறுங்கள்
பசியை கூர்மையான ஆயுதமாக்கும் படி
அவ்வாயுதம்
கண்களை நிமிர்த்தி எதிர்காலம் நோக்கி நம்பிக்கையை நடாத்தும்
அவ்வாயுதம்
இழந்த எம் வாழ்வின்
பசுமையை கொண்டு வரும்
எனவே,
சகோதர்களே,
பசியுடன் காத்திருக்கும் என் தாயிடம்
கூறுங்கள்

அவளுக்கான உணவு
அறுவடைக்கு தயாராகிவிட்டதென்று.

You would be poor struggling against starvation.

Those who have not chosen any of these two

Are born to rule

They are those

Who swing the cradles of both of us

And also

Intellectuals

are fit to govern

We can continue the poem

பசியுடன் போராடும்

ஏழைகளாவர்.

ஆளப் பிறந்தவர்கள்

அவர்கள்

இருவரது தொட்டிலையும்

ஆட்டிவிடுபவர்கள்

மற்றும்

புத்திஜீவிகள்

அரசாள தகுதிபெற்றோர்.

எனவே

விளம்பர இடைவேளைக்குப் பின்

கவிதையை

தொடரலாம்.

When X becomes 5 and Y remains as it is
It becomes 5 + Y
Sometimes when Y becomes 2
It becomes X + Y = 7.

When X is Democracy
And Y is People
The answer 7
is never derived.

என ஆகும்.
x ஐந்தாகும் போது
y , அதுவாக இருக்கும் போது
5 + y ஆகிறது.
சிலபோது
y இரண்டாகும்போது
x + y = 7 ஆகும்.
x என்பது ஜனநாயகம்
y என்பது மக்கள்
ஆகும் போது
விடை ஏழு
கிடைப்பதேதில்லை.
