THE TEETH OF BEAST

BEING HUNTED

We are being hunted non-stop

being deceived non-stop

We are being hunted

for the sins committed

as well as for those to be committed

We have no expertise to guess the strategies

Know not how to escape them.

Cruel words delivered

in the grip of events unfolding

tear us into shreds as the teeth of hyena

In response there sprout the teeth of wolf

in us.

As animal trapped in cage

We writhe and rage.

In life we are an error in Time

occurring in between an instant

when the good and bad not known

being ignorant of the right and wrong

And with our teeth buried deep

we keep waiting with the hope

that a time would come

for the arrival of messiahs

to redeem us.

துரத்தப்பட்டுக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறோம்

ஏமாற்றப்பட்டுக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறோம்

செய்த பாவங்களுக்கும்

செய்யப் போகும் பாவங்களுக்குமாக

சேர்த்தே விரட்டியடிக்கப் படுகிறோம்

வியூகங்களை யூகிக்கும் வல்லமையை அறியோம்

வியூகங்களில் இருந்து தப்பவும்

வழியறியோம்

நிகழ்வுகளின் பிடியில்

பிரசவமாகும் குரூர சொற்கள்

கழுதைப் புலியின் பற்களாக குதறுகின்றன

பதிலுக்கு நமக்குள்

ஓநாய்களின் பற்கள் முளைத்து விடுகின்றன.

பொறியில் சிக்கிய விலங்காய்

துடிக்கிறோம்

நெறிபிறழ் நடத்தையில்

சரியென்றும் தவறென்றும்

சம பாகத்தில்

நன்றென்றும் தீதென்றும்

பிரித்தறியா தருணத்தில்

இடைவந்து போன

காலப்பிழை நாம்

மீட்பர்கள் வந்துதவும்

காலமொன்று வருமென

காத்திருக்கிறோம்

பற்கள் ஒடுங்க ஒடுங்க.

Please talk to those who are steeped in

sorrow unbearable.

Let all that borne as the deadly silence

of the ocean deep down

burst and scatter as volcanic explosion.

No need to waste words of solace

so as to make them feel at ease for a while.

But the least you can do is to talk to them

Or at least listen to them

Those moments when you could become their saviour

or a person freeing them from torment

would prove magnificent .

Please learn that there is an inner side

in each coin

Please listen keenly to the voice

of the unknown side

Secrets untold might be piled up there

Smut and filth unrevealed

might lie concealed there

Unrealized feelings of guilt

might remain hidden there

Things heinous might be waiting for

their redemption

Please listen to their voices

That itself could become

an affectionate caress

As a breakthrough or turning point

Your Words might lead those in

sorrow unleashed

to a different world that remains serene.

Hence

Speak to them, won’t you

Or at least

Listen to them please.

ஆழ்கடல் மௌனமெனப் பொதித்து வைத்தவை எரிமலையென வெடித்தாவது சிதறட்டும்.

அவர்கள் சற்று ஆசுவாசம் கொள்ளட்டுமென ஆறுதல் வார்த்தைகளை நீங்கள் விரயமாக்கவேண்டாம்

குறைந்தபட்சம் பேசுங்கள்

அல்லது கேளுங்கள்

பாரமிறக்கும் மீட்பராகவோ

துயர்நீக்கும் நபராகவோ நீங்கள் மாறக்கூடும் தருணங்கள் அற்புதமானவை

ஒவ்வொரு நாணயத்திலும் உட்பக்கமொன்று இருப்பதை அறியுங்கள்

அறியப்படாத பக்கத்தின் குரலை உற்றுக் கேளுங்கள்

சொல்லப்படாத அந்தரங்கங்கள் குவிந்து கிடக்கலாம்

சொல்லப்படாத அசிங்கங்கள் மறைந்து கிடக்கலாம்

உணரப்பட்ட குற்றவுணர்வுகள்

ஒளிந்து கிடக்கலாம்

வெளியாகாத கீழ்மைகள்

விமோசனத்திற்காகக் காத்திருக்கலாம்

கேளுங்கள் அவர்கள் கூக்குரலை

அதுவே ஒரு தலைகோதலாகலாம்

மடைமாற்றமென உங்கள் சொற்கள்

பெருந்துயரத்திலிருப்பவர்களை

வேருலகிற்குக் கூட்டிச்செல்லலாம்

ஆகவே

பேசுங்கள்

அல்லது

கேளுங்கள் குறைந்தபட்சம்.
