THE COGWHEELS OF THE POWER LOOM
Despite a few drops of nudity being revealed
through the tear at the bums
of the khaki half-pants
the dream inside the pocket
remained safe without seeping.
Then
In the terrible war ensued
defeating the primordial hunger
proving impossible
while running away
retreating
that which crashed down
falling in the cogwheel of the power loom
is being wrung long since.
