Does a peacock carry such a heavy plumage
Willingly
How lovely it would be to have tail squirrel-like
It might be musing.
The pigeon that eats grain
Might envy the rat that eats worms
The rose smiles of course with fear
As a princess celebrating her birthday
in the enemy’s camp.
Will the tortoises consider their shells
as veritable shields
Seeing the lilt and leap of fish
They might want to smash them. O, Yes.
Being careful on not having its antlers
Dash against the branches
the Sambur Deer(Kalai maan) might miss its prey.
Antlers can be no beauty to it in anyway.
Will the elephant feel proud
of the ivory
It is the chain round its legs
that causes it worry.
Thinking of the salty-scum
the Sea might come wailing to the shore
in search of a clean bathroom.
ஒரு மயில் இத்தனை கனமான தோகையை விரும்பியா
சுமக்கிறது
அணில் வாலைப்போல் இருந்தால்
அழகென நினைக்கலாம் மனதில்
புழுவைத் தின்னும்
எலியைப் பார்த்துப்
பொறாமை படலாம்
தானியம் தின்னும் புறா
ரோஜா பயத்தோடுதான் சிரிக்கிறது.
எதிரிகள் முகாமில் பிறந்தநாள்
கொண்டாடும்
ஒரு ராஜகுமாரியைப்போல
ஆமைகள் கவசமாகவா நினைக்கும் ஓட்டை
மீன்களின் துள்ளல் பார்த்து
உடைத்துவிட நினைக்கக்கூடும்
ஓடுகளை
கிளைகளில் கொம்பு மோதாமல்
போகவண்டுமே என்பதிலே
இரையை விட்டுவிடலாம் கலைமான்
கொம்பு அதற்கு அழகல்ல
தந்தங்களை நினைத்து
கர்வப்படவா போகிறது யானை
காலிலிட்ட விலங்குதான்
அதன் கவலை
உப்புக்கசடை நினைத்து
ஓலமிட்டபடி கரைக்கு ஓடிவரலாம்
கடல்
நல்ல குளியறை தேடி.
