NAKED SEARCH

A strand of thread wanders from place to place for laying itself bare.

In the swings and sways of both its ends the anguish for drawing its world.
As it went round and round there came some more knots on its torso. Attires multiplied.
All over the body heat unbearable.
The trees bent their hips once and straightened.
The strand of thread arrives at a pond.
Entering into the water, through the drenched clothes it eyes its nudity for the first time.
There pervades the ecstasy of being soaked in grape-wine.
It climbs down deeper inside. Soon it startsd swimming along with the fishes. Its attires came off as flakes and were gone.
Now the strand of thread and its world turned thoroughly bare – thus I conclude the tale.
That, later on, on an other day a girl who went to bathe in the pond found a strand of thread and learning that thousands of such strands coiled inside that many accessed them and wove attires and clothed themselves – tales aplenty came to prevail.

நிர்வாணத் தேடல்

நூல் இழையொன்று தன்னை நிர்வாணப்படுத்திக் கொள்ள ஒவ்வொரு பாதையாய் அலைகிறது.
அதன் இரு முனைகளின் அசைவுகளிலும் தன் உலகை வரைவதற்கான தவிப்பு.
பாதைகளெங்கும் சுழன்று திரிந்ததில் உடலில் இன்னும் சில முடிச்சுகள். ஆடைகள் அதிகரித்தன. உடலெங்கும் தாங்கொணா வெம்மை.
மரங்கள் ஒரு முறை இடுப்பை வளைத்து நிமிர்ந்தன.
குளமொன்றை அடைகிறது அந்த நூலிழை.
குளத்தினுள் நுழைந்த அது முதல் முறை நனைந்த ஆடைகள் வழியே
தன் நிர்வாணத்தை
பார்க்கிறது. உடலினுள் திராட்சை ரசம் ஊறிய பரவசம்.
இன்னும் ஆழத்தினுள் இறங்குகிறது. சொற்ப நேரத்தில் மீன்களுடன் சேர்ந்து தானும் நீந்தத் துவங்குகிறது. ஆடைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் செதில் செதிலாயக் கழன்று போயின.
இப்போது நூலிழையும் அதன் உலகமும் முழுக்க நிர்வாணமயமானது எனக் கதையை நிறைவு செய்கிறேன்.
பின்னொரு நாள் அந்தக் குளத்திற்கு நீராடச் சென்ற ஒரு பெண் ஒரு நூலிழையைக் கண்டெடுத்ததாகவும், அதனைப் போல பல்லாயிரம் நூலிழைகள் அதனுள் கிடப்பது தெரிய வந்து பலர், அவற்றை எடுத்து ஆடைகள் நெய்து அணிந்ததாகவும் கதைகள் பரவின.
