ON FOOT

In the morning pathways

overflowing with yellow
With a soft melodious tune
from afar
never bothering about the tall roofs of their abode _
the spiders

As the two sides
with no to and fro crisscrossing
the path remains quiet.

Can classify different types of walking
Slow but steady walking
Raging and slippery gait

Smelling one or two
peculiar flowers
is pleasurable indeed.

Through walking
can go beyond an era
This melody seems to be pursuing
hauntingly
There is a pristine bond between the roadside woods
that have treasures aplenty concealed,
and the hearts of humans

In lust for walking
no mercy is shown
for the dreams of the crippled ones
and the prisoners in chains.

நடந்து வருதல்

மஞ்சளால் நிரம்பி வழியும்
காலைநேரத்தின் பாதைகளில்
தூரத்து மெல்லிய மெலோடி இசையொன்றுடன்
தன் வீட்டின் முகடுகளை பற்றி
சிறிதும் அலட்டிக்கொள்ளாத சிலந்திகள்
இரு புறங்களும்
குறுக்குமறுக்காக அலையாததால்
அமைதியாக இருக்கின்றது பாதை
நடத்தலை வகைப்படுத்த முடிகிறது
மெதுவான ஆனால் கூர்மையான நடத்தல்
கோபமான அஃதோடு தெளிவற்ற நடத்தல்
ஒன்றிரண்டு
வித்தியாசம் நிறைந்த பூக்களை
தனிமையோடு முகர்வதில் இன்பம் இருக்கிறது
நடத்தலினூடு
ஒரு காலகட்டத்தை கடக்க முடிகிறது
இந்த மெலோடி விடாமல் துரத்துவதான பிரமை
எத்தனையோ இரகசியங்களை
எத்தனையோ புதையல்களை
ஒளித்து வைத்திருக்கும்
பாதையோர காடுகளுக்கும்
மனிதர்களின் உள்ளங்களுக்கும்
தொடுகையில்லாத தொடர்பு இருக்கிறது
நடத்தலை விரும்புவதில்
கால்களற்றவனின் கனவுகளுக்கும்
சங்கிலிகளால் பிணைக்கப்பட்ட கைதிகளுக்கும்
எவ்வித கருணையும் காட்டப்படுவதில்லை
