THE SWINGS AND SWAYS OF SONG

In the hands of breeze

My song

wears the night.

The wind alone knows how to play the song

known to none.

My song is full of pathos.

Can break hearts

weak and vulnerable.

They that can’t be shared with any

live in isolation

having as backdrop just the wind.

The wind meets everyone

yet

it has voiced

the woes of none.

காற்றின் கரங்களில்

எனது பாடல்

இரவை அணிந்திருக்கிறது

எவருக்கும் புலப்படாத

அப்பாடலை

காற்று மட்டும் வாசிக்க தெரிந்திருக்கிறது

எனது பாடல்

துன்பியங்கள் நிறைந்தவை

இளகிய மனத்தை

உடைக்கக் கூடியவை

எல்லோரிடமும் பகிர;ந்து கொள்ள

முடியாதவையாகவும்

தனித் நிற்பதன் பின்புலமாக

காற்றோடு வசிக்கிறது

காற்று எல்லோரையும் சந்திக்கிறது

எனினும்

எவருடைய குறைகளையும்

சொல்லியதில்லை.
