A POEM BY
PUNITHA JOTHI
Rendered in English by Latha Ramakrishnan(*First Draft)
When I turned a Truth into an Orange
and began peeling its skin
Many found it comprising
sour slices.
Some found them to be
sweet segments.
Some saw it
as rotten fruit.
But in my hand
It remains ever
as an Orange.
‘THE DELUGE OF THE MASS OF SILENCE
