In memory of a river on the throes of death

I collected three pebbles from its abdomen
and brought them along.
One, looking lovely, in the Pooja room
Another for scratching the back while bathing
One upon the sheets of paper
so that they won’t fly
The house after all those three occupied
their respective spots _
moaning throughout the night;
dreams all disturbed by water.
Hiding I peep
to see what those three are doing
in that desolate loneliness
of the locked house.

மரணப்படுக்கையில்;

மரணப் படுக்கையிலிருக்கும்
ஒரு நதியின் நினைவாக
அதன் அடி வயிற்றிலிருந்து
மூன்று கூழாங்கற்களை எடுத்து வந்தேன்
வடிவானதொன்று பூஜையறையில்
குளிக்கும் போது முதுகு தேய்க்கவொன்று
தாள்கள் பறக்காமலிருக்க
அதன் மீதொன்று
மூன்றும் இட்ததைப் பங்கீட்டுக் கொண்ட
பின்பான வீடு
இரவெல்லாம் ஓயாத முனகல்
கனவெல்லாம் நீர் குடைதல்
ஒளிந்திருந்து பார்க்கிறேன்
பூட்டிய வீட்டின்
ஆளற்ற தனிமையில்
மூன்றும் என்ன செய்கின்றன வென்று.

When a cheetah starts running for its hunt

At the background
Thousand symphonies are being played.

Life waiting to be torn to shreds
in a drop of a second

Ironing the clothes
and conversing or describing leisurely
No time to spare, my friend
In the ascending and descending
moundpits
progression of music

Life winks
in sorrow accumulated
at the focal length of optical system

A deer a life
in haphazard run
no flute listened.

இசை நிரல்
வாழ்வு இமைக்கப்படுகிறது
விழிதக அமைப்பின் குவியத்தூரத்தில்
குவியும் துயரத்தில்
ஒரு மான் ஒரு வாழ்வு
அலங்கோலமான ஓட்டத்தில்
ஒரு புல்லாங்குழலும் செவிமடுப்பதில்லை
