I chanced to see the Facebook page

of he who died of cardiac arrest,
on his sixteenth day.
All over the pages, a rock lies so taut, frozen
as the silence weighing all too heavy
In the wick of pain concealed inside it
as gelatin stick
the scream of beloved wife
and the sob of teenage daughter
would light fire any time.
A laughing photograph of he
who was the savior of the entire family
is going to turn into smithereens.
The uploads of all and sundry in his timeline
taste sour as fallen ‘maavadu’
The ‘Likes’ given
turning into stillborn child
fill the pages with toxic blue.
To that Page which never wants to come alive
Friend requests still coming
And someone keeps confirming

நெஞ்சடைத்து இறந்தவனின் முகநூல் பக்கத்தைப்
பார்க்க நேர்ந்தது
அவனது பதினாறாம் நாளில்.
பக்கங்களெங்கும் கனத்த மௌனமாகப்
பாறையொன்று இறுகிக் கிடக்கிறது.
அதற்குள் ஜெலட்டின்குச்சாக மறைந்திருக்கும்
வலியின் திரியில்,
பாறையின் பின்புறத்திலிருந்து கேட்கிற
காதல் மனைவியின் கூக்குரலும்
பருவ மகளின் விசும்பலும்
எந்த நேரத்திலும் நெருப்பை வைக்கலாம்.
குடும்பத்துக்கே அபயம் தந்த அவனது
சிரிப்பூரும் புகைப்படமொன்றும் சிதறப் போகிறது.
அவனது பக்கங்களில்
யார்யாரோ மாட்டிவைக்கும் செய்திகள்
உதிர்ந்துவிட்ட மாவடுவாகத் துவர்க்கின்றன.
விழுந்திருக்கும் லைக்குகள்
வயிற்றிலே மரித்துவிட்ட கருவாகி
அந்தப் பக்கங்களை நீலம்பாரிக்க வைக்கின்றன.
ஒருபோதும் உயிர்க்க விரும்பாத அந்தப் பக்கத்துக்கு
வந்தபடி இருக்கும் ஃப்ரெண்ட் ரெக்யூஸ்ட்களை
யாரோ கன்ஃபர்ம் செய்தபடியும் இருக்கிறார்கள்
