GODS REVISIT

A discussion is taking place

On Gods revisiting the Earth.

Gods are gullible beings, they say.

Gods are protesters they hold

Gods know to forgive and forget they claim

Gods are the foremost of all, they declare.

So they collected thousand and odd views

Carrying them all on my back

Taking them to him

Knowing his direction I roll on.

Wind and sun

Chill and rain

have taken a toll on my voyage.

For resting a while

I sit underneath the tree.

From a branch droplets of water

start trickling down on me

looking above I searched for the source

wherefrom the droplets sprout

he who saw my loads unbearable

ripping open the tree

made a hasty retreat.

தெய்வங்கள் மீள்வருகை.

தெய்வங்கள் பூமி வருகைபற்றி கலந்துரையாடல் நடக்கின்றது.

தெய்வங்கள் வெகுளியானவர்களாம்

தெய்வங்கள் சாந்தமானவர்களாம்

தெய்வங்கள் போராட்ட குணமுடையவர்களாம்

தெய்வங்கள் மன்னிக்கத்தகுந்தவர்களாம்

தெய்வங்கள் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் முதன்மையானவர்களாம்.

பலர் பலவாறான கருத்துக்களை அள்ளி முடித்தனர்.

அத்தனை காரசாரமான பரிமாறல்களை அவனிடம் சேர்ப்பதாக என் முதுகில் சுமந்தபடி

அவன் திசையறிந்து புரள்கிறேன்..

காற்றும் வெயிலும்

மழையும் குளிரும்

என் பயணத்தை பதம் பார்த்தன..

சற்று ஓயவெடுக்க அம்மரத்தடியில்

அமர்கிறேன்..

மரக்கிளையொன்றிலிருந்து நீர்த்துளிகள் என்னில் சொட்டுசொட்டாய் விழ ஆரம்பித்தன,

அன்னார்ந்து துளிகளின் ஊற்றெடுக்கும் புள்ளியை தேடினேன்.

என் சுமைகளை கண்டவன்

மரத்தை பிளந்து உள்வாங்கிக்கொண்டான்.
