CLOCKCUCKOO

The ashes of a corpse obtained

from heartfelt condolences

While holding close for dissolving in the air

its remains sticking in the wet hands

Rainbow sans colours

It is the names that we had been calling out yesterday

we are dissolving first and foremost.

For us this brook is the river

For us this brook is the sea

For us this wind is the God

The auditdata of Nova’s Time

bellowed at the

deaths being digested.

This is Earth’s first rain

Made of animals’ blood

Clock -sparrow’s feathers

dripping before rain sprouts

are slowly shedding themselves

into the framework of God's Laws.

கடிகாரக்குருவி

ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கல்களிலிருந்து

பெறப்பட்ட ஒரு சவத்தின் சாம்பல்

காற்றுக்குள் கரைப்பதற்காக தழுவிக்கொண்டிருக்கையில்

ஈரக்கைகளோடு எஞ்சி ஒட்டியிருக்கிறது

நிறங்களற்ற வானவில்

நேற்றைக்கு அழைக்கப்பட்ட பெயர்களைத்தான் முதலில்

கரைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்

நமக்கு இந்த ஓடை தான் நதி

நமக்கு இந்த ஓடை தான் கடல்

நமக்கு இந்த காற்று தான் கடவுள்

செரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் மரணங்களிடம் உறுமிக்கொண்டது நோவா காலத்தின் தணிக்கை

இது பூமியின் முதல் மழை

விலங்குகளின் ரத்தங்களால் ஆனது

மழைத்துளிர்வதற்குள் ஈரஞ்சொட்டும்

கடிகாரக்குருவியின் சிறகுகள்

கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாய்

உதிர்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன

காலம் கடந்த கடவுளின் சட்டத்திற்குள்

So close to my Life

There are two thoroughfares.

In one

all alone I am walking

In another

though there are many

I am walking alone

There is a third one, a short-cut

All and sundry are looking at me

and waving their hands.

I don’t have the heart to alter

my body

into footwear

and wear and tear.

I turn around

safe and sound.

என் வாழ்விற்கு

மிக நெருக்கத்தில

இரண்டு சாலைகள் உள்ளது

ஒன்று நான் தனிமையில்

நடந்து வருகிறேன்

மற்றொன்றில்

நிறைய பேரிருந்தும்

தனியாய் நடந்து வருகிறேன்

மூன்றாவதாக ஒரு குறுக்கு வழி

யார் யாரோ என்னை பார்த்து

கையசைக்கிறார்கள்

செருப்பை உடலாக்கி

தேய்வதற்கு மனமில்லை

திரும்பி விடுகிறேன் பத்திரமாக.
