GOOD MORNING

How to send this Good Morning

Wifi, Laptop, e-mail – everything is there

Severing all connections

You remain as the primordial female.

You turn into an island surrounded by vast sea

How I wish I had trained a bird

If I had it would have carried my love

safely covering it with its feathers

and handed it over to thee

shall I ascend the peak and cry out proclaiming

But, won’t the words carried by the wind become time-ravaged

Can write on the cloud

But of the thousand and odd clouds running across the sea

How would you find this particular piece!

My lovely little girl!

This is Good Morning meant for you.

Should tell this before

The moisture of love on each word

go dry

extending the hand of thought that stretches on and on

I feel you

Now I say resounding

GOOD MORNING

காலை வணக்கம்

-----------------------வேலணையூர்-தாஸ்

எப்படி அனுப்புவது இந்த காலை வணக்கத்தை

வைபர் வட்சாப் ஈ மெயில் எல்லாம் இருக்கிறது

தொடர்புகளை துண்டித்து

ஆதி கால மனுசியாகி இருக்கிறாய்

நீண்ட கடல் சூழ்ந்த தீவாகிறாய்

நான் ஒரு பறவையை பழக்கியிருக்கலாம்

என் பிரியத்தை சிறகினால்

பொத்தி வந்து கொடுத்திருக்கும்.

உயரத்தில் ஏறி நின்று உரக்க சொல்லிவிடவா

காற்று காவி வரும் வார்த்தைகளுக்கு

வயதாகி விடாதா!

மேகத்தில் எழுதி விடலாம்

ஓடும் ஆயிரம் மேகங்களில்

எப்படி கண்டு கொள்வாய் இந்த துண்டு மேகத்தை!

என் சின்னப்பெண்ணே!

உனக்கான வணக்கம் இது

ஒவ்வொரு எழுத்திலும் இருக்கிற அன்பின் ஈரம் காயும் முன்

இதை சொல்லி விடவேண்டும்

நீள நினைக்கிற நினைவின் கை நீட்டி

உன்னை தொடுகிறேன்

இப்போது சொல்கிறேன்
