It knows not how to spell out.

With its sound

it would give some signals

not all can decipher.

Till date not heard the tale of

He who had lost the address

of his dearest

beseeching the wind

From now on

I would become a tale indeed.

காற்றுக்கு

எல்லாமும் தெரியும்

பேசத் தெரியாது

தன் ஓசையால்

எல்லோராலும் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியாத

சமிக்ஞைகளைக் காட்டும்.

பிரியத்துக்குரியவளின்

முகவரியை தொலைத்தவன்

காற்றிடம் மன்றாடிய

கதையை இதுவரை

கேட்டதில்லை.

இனி

நான் கதையாவேன்.

Mixing the ice cube in water

The body rejoices in the pleasant cool.

It was like what we feel

post intercourse

described my pal

his experience of relishing a drink

brimming with ice-chips.

A sense of longing drowned me,

The ice-cubes are ever ready

Blissfully ignorant of it all

So engrossed in her game

was the little girl

who had drawn the ice.

குளிர்க்கட்டியை

நீரில் கலக்க

சில்லிடலில் உடல் மகிழ்ந்தது.

புணர்ச்சிக்குப் பின்னான

குதுகுலத்தை தந்ததாக

கூறினான் நண்பன்

குளிர்கட்டி தளும்பிய

மது அருந்திய அனுபவத்தை.

அவ்வளவு ஏக்கமாகிப் போனதெனக்கு.

எப்பொழுதும்

தயராகவே இருக்கின்றன

குளிர்க்கட்டிகள் .

இது குறித்தெல்லாம்

எவ்வித புரிதலுமற்று

தன் விளையாட்டில் இருந்தாள்

பனிக்கட்டியை வரைந்த சிறுமி.
