AN APPEAL TO THE ASSASSIN

If you are one who wants to annihilate me

First abuse me

Obscene words unbearable to the ears

Don’t forget to tarnish my relationship with my mother

Seeing me not reacting

get irritated

and on that account

curse me

That I should be run over by a lorry

Or have the lock of my house

which I would come and open it at midnight

thoroughly electrified.

Or mix poison in the wine I usually drink

If not possible

knowing my passionate love for the mountain crest

take me there and push me into the abyss

If you feel it unnecessary

at least stab my back with a dagger

If you are not that brave

appoint a mercenary.

If you are particular about finishing the business

without a trace

try black magic in any case

If this too doesn’t suit thee

You can drown me

Push me out of a speeding train

You can have me executed on the gallows

Try all these

If none proves effective

rape my wife in front of my eyes

Or when my children are fast asleep

crush their heads with a rocky stone.

If I still survive

please O please

as the last resort

Love me with all your heart.

அல்லது நான் பருகும் மதுவில் விஷம் கலந்து கொடுங்கள்

முடியாத பட்சத்தில் மலையுச்சியை நேசிக்கும்

என் சபலமறிந்து

அழைத்துச் சென்று அங்கிருந்து தள்ளி விடுங்கள்

அது அநாவசிய வேலை என நினைத்தால்

என் முதுகிலேனும் பிச்சுவாக் கத்தியால் குத்துங்கள்

நீங்கள் தைரியம் கொஞ்சம் குறைவானவரெனில்

ஆள் வைத்துச் செய்யுங்கள்

தடயமே தெரியவரக்கூடாது என்றால்

பில்லி சூன்யமாவது வையுங்கள்

இதுவெதுவும் பொருந்தவில்லையெனில்

ஆற்றில் மூழ்கடிக்கலாம்..

ரயிலிலிருந்து தள்ளி விடலாம்...

தூக்கேற்றிக் கொள்ளலாம்...

இவற்றையெல்லாம் முயற்சித்துப் பாருங்கள்

ஒன்றினாலும் பயனில்லாத பட்சத்தில் கண்ணெதிரே

என் மனைவியை வன்புணர்ச்சி செய்யுங்கள்

அல்லது என் குழந்தைகள் தூங்கும்போது பாறாங்கல்லால்

தலை நசுக்குங்கள்

அப்படியும் நான் உயிரோடு தொடர்ந்திருந்தால்

தயவு செய்து இறுதியிலும் இறுதியாக

அன்பையாவது செலுத்துங்கள்.
