In the radiant expanse of the

Canvas

In between Quiet

and Conflict

Close to tests and contests

I repose for a while.

In the soft music of

the tender cool breeze

Yesterday and Tomorrow

drop by drop

tasting sweet within.

I do ponder over

the semblance of Death

at times

waiting at the corner of the

bustling street

for my turn.

ஒளி வீசிப் படரும்

ஓவியப் பரப்பில்

ஆறுதலுக்கும்

அலைசலுக்கும் நடுவில்

சவால்களின் நெருக்கமாக

சற்று அமர்ந்து கொள்கிறேன்.

குளிர் காற்றின்

மெல்லிய இசையில்

நேற்றையும் நாளையும்

ஒவ்வொரு துளியாக

எனக்குள் இனித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.

சிற்சில சமயங்களில்

தெரு சந்தடியில்

என் முறை வரும்வரை காத்திருக்கும்

மரணத்தின் சாயலையும்

அவதானித்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.
