ENLIGHTENMENT
As if suffice to have remained there
It had just then dropped down
from the tree.
One or two more days
With no complaints whatsoever
it lies there
eyeing the sky
silently bearing the heat of sun
swaying in the wind
in its fleeting lifetime
Let my hands also
feel it _
Wishing so
I picked it up.
Oh so soft so colourful
so fragrant so wonderful
With no trace of ‘I”
So still, tranquil, Oh My!
Placing it gently down
I walked on
with those words read long ago
ringing in me:
‘Transform into a flower, if you can!”
ஞானம்
போதும் போதும் இருந்ததென
அப்போதுதான் உதிர்ந்தது மரத்திலிருந்து
இன்னும் ஒரு நாளோ
இரு நாளோ
புகாரேதுமின்றி
வான் நோக்கிக் கிடக்கிறது
வெயிலையும் வாங்கிக்கொண்டு
காற்றுக்கு அசையும் அதை அதன் சொற்ப வாழ்வில்
என் கரங்களும் ஸ்பரிசிக்கட்டுமேயென
எடுத்தேன்
எத்தனை ம்ருது, வண்ணம், வாசனை, வடிவம்.
தான்மை இல்லை சலனமில்லை
மெல்ல அதை தரையிலேயே
வைத்துவிட்டு நடந்தேன்
எப்போதோ படித்தது
நினைவுக்கு வர
நீங்கள் மாறவேண்டும்
ஒரு மலரைப்போல என்று.

THE RIVER
Wonder how so amply fills up
that space
In the desert of the lengthy river of
far-flung distance
Oh how very astonishingly
the mirage floats and meanders
Sweat pouring out
I am returning home
finding comfort
that right now
this at least is seen.
நதி
எப்படி
நிரம்புகிறதெனத் தெரியவில்லை
அவ் வெளி
நீள் ஆற்றின் நெடுந்தொலைவின் பாலையில்
அப்படி மிதந்தலைகிறது
கானல் நீர்
வியர்வை வழிய
வீடு திரும்பிகொண்டிருக்கிறேன்
இப்போதைக்கு
அதாவது தென்படுகிறதேயென்ற
ஆறுதலுடன்.
