The leaf that came floating and halting there

disrupts the solitude of the lone pebble.

The river bank brimming with the reflection of water

disturbs the leaf’s reposing.

Watching the sway of the leaf

the pebble sets forth on another solitariness

from Square Number One.

ஒற்றைக் கூழாங்கல்லின்

தனிமையை குலைக்கிறது

மிதந்து வந்து நிற்கும் ஓரிலை

இலையின் இளைப்பாறலை

சிதைக்கிறது

நீரின் பிம்பம் நிறைந்து கிடக்கும்

ஆற்றின் கரை

இலையின் ஆட்டத்தைப் பார்த்தபடி

வேறு ஓர் தனிமையை

முதலில் இருந்து தொடங்குகிறது கூழாங்கல்.
