Leaves in heart’s shape
As faraway temple bell
Quivering and swaying leaves
in thousands
wither and drop every day
Today
scattering in the wind
seeds in millions
the Peepal trees plays joyously.
For the Peepal Tree
it is but natural.
For Nature
It is sheer greed.
But
Why doesn’t this Nature has the hope
that suffice to have a handful of seeds
for plants and trees to grow...
Naturally Uncertainty!
Isn’t it essentially the nature
of being uncertain
Just like men....
தெருமுக்கில் ஓங்கி உயர்ந்ததொரு
அரசமரம்
இதயவடிவில் இலைகள்
தூரத்து ஆலயமணிஓசையாக
சிலிர்த்தசையும் இலைகள்
ஆயிரமாயிரமாக
நாளும் நாளும் உதிர்கின்றன..
இன்றைய நாளில்
கோடானுகோடி
விதைகளைக் காற்றில் இறைத்து
விளையாடுகிறது
அரசமரம்..
அரசமரத்துக்கு
அது இயல்பு
இயற்கைக்கோ
அது பேராசை
எனில்
கொஞ்சம் விதைகளிலேயே
செடிகொடி மரங்கள்
முளைத்து விடும்
எனும் நம்பிக்கை
இந்த இயற்கைக்கு
ஏனில்லை..
Naturally Uncertainty!
அடிப்படையில் அது
மகாஐயுறவுக் குணம் தானே
மனிதனுக்குப் போல..

When lying in his aged bed one day my father
“Fully satisfied”.
The next moment he plunged into eternal quiet.
That which he silently spoke while leaving:
“Deep down Life is all sorrow
Do acts of kindness and good deeds alone...
Better still
Be satisfied with the outcomes of your deeds
Whatever they be
My dear son..
Nothing but satisfaction brings Peace
Life’s sense and substance is Peace
முதுமைப் படுக்கையில் ஒருநாள் மாலையில்
எம் தந்தை,
அத் தருணம் பாலை முழுக்க அருந்தியதும் டம்ளரைக் கொடுத்து விட்டுச் சொன்னார்:
"ரொம்பத் திருப்தி "
அடுத்த கணம் நிரந்தர அமைதியில் ஆழ்ந்து விட் டார்.
அவர் மௌனமாகச் சொல்லிச் சென்றது :
"வாழ்வின் உள்ளார்ந்த இருப்பு துக்கம்..
புரிக கருணை நற்செயல்கள் மட்டுமே...
அதனினும் மேலாக
புரியும் காரிய விளைவு யாவினும்
திருப்தி கொள்வாய்
மகனே..
திருப்தியே யாவர்க்கும் அமைதி..
வாழ்வின் அர்த்தம் அமைதி"
