I know

that you have an abode

That is built by You

For You

_ The You being exclusive.

No sketches drawn

No permission obtained

It is built by means of your

conveniences.

In a very comfortable place

You have kept the door

In your most favourite spots

You have placed the windows.

The automatic solace-providers

that would relieve you of all ailments

are available there.

Herbal plants with leaves secreting balms

that relieve you of all worries

are available there

The abode is an air-conditioner

That operates accordingly

to suit your varying temperatures

A living shadow is there.

A shadow that changes

as suits your whims and fancies.

In the all too dark interior room

With aloneness aplenty

Where none can seek entry

You eat

In the entire world

It is in that abode

That makes you feel utmost secure.

I know

It is there you are

But it is in the address you give

that you live

So this world foolishly believes.

உனக்கொரு வீடு இருக்கிறது

அது

நீயே நீ

உனக்கே உனக்காக

கட்டிக் கொண்டது

வரைபடங்கள் வரையவுமில்லை

அனுமதிகள் பெறவுமில்லை

உன் சவுகரியங்களால் வனையப்பட்டது

மிக வசதியான இடத்தில்

வாசல் வைத்திருக்கிறாய்

மிக விருப்பமான இடங்களில்

ஜன்னல்கள் வைத்திருக்கிறாய்

உன் நோவுகள் போக்கும்

தானியங்கி ஒத்தடங்கள் அங்குண்டு

உன் கவலைகளை ஐதாக்கும்

தைலம் சுரக்கும்

தாவர இலைகள் உண்டு

உன் மனதின்

தட்ப வெப்பங்களுக்கேற்ப

தன்னை இயக்கும் குளிரூட்டி அது

உன் எண்ணத்தை புரிந்து கொண்டு

தன்னைத் தானே

உருமாற்றிக் கொண்டிருக்கும்

அங்கு ஓர்

உயிருள்ள நிழல் உண்டு

நீ

நினைப்பது போலெல்லாம்

மாறும் நிழல்

யாருமே வந்து விட முடியாத

கொழுத்த தனிமை நிறைந்திருக்கும்

இருண்ட உள் அறைக்குள்

நீ புசிக்கிறாய்

உலகிலேயே

அந்த வீடுதான்

மிகப் பத்திரமானது உனக்கு

எனக்குத் தெரியும்

நீ

அங்குதான் இருக்கிறாய்

ஆனால்

நீ கொடுக்கும்

முகவரியில் இருக்கிறாய் என்று

நம்பிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறது
