FLOWERS

The lonely hours with none beside

asking me to relish and find

how very tasty is the silent sap

of Everyday.

For the garden inside

that keeps engraving within

the bitternesses of Time

We need Flowers always.

When someone is close to heart

When someone moves apart

When someone breaks you into pieces

For us to preserve ourselves

Not being submissive to anything anybody

For the Self to sprout

as our essential part

The way flowers teach us

We can learn from no one else.

தினங்களின்

மௌனச்சாறு

எத்தனை ருசியென்று

பருகச்சொல்கிறது

யாருமற்ற பொழுதுகள்

காலத்தின் கசப்புகளை

அழியாது பதித்துக்கொள்ளும்

உள்மனத்தோட்டத்தில்

பூக்கள் எப்போதும் வேண்டும்

யாரேனும் அருகிருக்கும்போதும்

யாரேனும் நகரும்போதும்

யாரேனும் உடைத்துவிடும்போதும்

யாரிடமும் எதற்காகவும் நம்மை

ஒப்புக்கொள்ளாத வாழ்விற்கு

கொஞ்சம் அவசியமாய்

சுயம் பூக்க அவைகள்

சொல்லித்தருவதை போல்

வேறுயாரிடமும் கற்க இயலாது...
