Slowly

Still more slowly

So so slowly

Leisurely

Feeling relaxed reposing

Pleasantly

Too very pleasantly

Why not we travel along

What is wrong

That which we are going to arrive at

moving hastily

hurriedly

All too hurriedly

_ Isn’t that too Rest Perfect.

The cup of water

We can slowly

very very slowly

drink

Now and then

looking around

We can have it

sip by sip

taking our own time.

Gulping it all too fast

in bitter haste

feeling no taste

Oh, won’t it be a sheer waste.

Maybe

If we go running

we could grab the glorious fruit

of victory

and relish it.

But if damn slowly means

We can tie a swing on the aerial roots

of failure

and oscillate in gay abandon,

for sure…..

மெது மெதுவாய்

மிக மிக மெதுவாய்

இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் மெதுவாய்

சாவகாசமாய் ஆசுவாசமாய்

இளைப்பாறியபடியே இதமாய்

வெகு இதமாய்

பயணித்தால் தானென்ன.

அவசர அவசரமாய்

மிக மிக அவசரமாய்

வேக வேகமாய்

விரைந்து விரைந்து சென்று

அடையப் போவதும்

ஓர் இளைப்பாறலன்றி வேறென்ன.

கோப்பை நீரை

மெதுவாய் மிக மிக மெதுவாய்

உறிஞ்சிக் குடிக்கலாம்

இடை இடையே

வேடிக்கை பார்த்தபடி

மிடறு மிடறாய்

ஆற அமர அருந்தலாம்

அவசர அவசரமாய்

ஆகப்பெரும் ஆவலாதியாய்

மடக் மடக்கெனக் குடித்து

அடையும் அவதியில்

ஆனந்தமென்ன இருந்துவிட முடியும்.

ஒருவேளை

அவசர அவசரமாய் விரைந்தேகினால்

வெற்றிக்கனியைப் பறிக்கவும்

புசிக்கவும் முடியுமாய் இருக்கலாம்.

ஆயின் மெது மெதுவாய் எனில்

தோல்வியின் விழுதுகளில்

ஊஞ்சல் கட்டி உல்லாசமாய்

ஆடிக் களிக்கலாம்.

Looks like I have been here for centuries

So many grants

So many retributions

True to what others say

they could be God's

or Satan's

But, Just the way I have accepted

Gods grants and retributions

I have been accepting

those of Satans too.

Still

Till date all I know is that

about God and Satan

and the difference between the two

nothing I have ever known

with precision.

இருந்துகொண்டிருப்பதைப் போலிருக்கிறது

எவ்வளவு கொடைகள்

எவ்வளவு தண்டனைகள்

பலரும் சொல்வதைப் போல அவை

கடவுளுடையதாகவும் இருக்கலாம்

சாத்தானுடையதாகவும் இருக்கலாம்

எனில்

கடவுளின் கொடைகளையும் தண்டனைகளையும்

ஏற்றுக்கொண்டிருப்பதைப் போலவே

சாத்தானின் கொடைகளையும் தண்டனைகளையும்

ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு இருந்திருக்கிறேன்.

ஆயினும் கடவுள் பற்றியும்

சாத்தான் பற்றியும்

இருவருக்குமான வேறுபாடுகள் பற்றியும்

எதுவுமே எப்போதுமே

நான் தெளிந்துகொண்டிருக்கவில்லை

என்பதை மட்டுமே

இதுவரை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
