FROZEN TIME FRAME

The woman releasing herself from home

removes the wall clock of the home exclusive

where she has arrived

and hides it.

Tears off the calendar pages

holding them in a bunch

After switching off the mobile

She looks in the mirror

The face gleaming in the gay abandon

of forsaking Time.

Henceforth her hours and meals time

are nameless.

No need to feel sad about the dust

settling on the door

that no friend nor foe knocks at.

Just as discarding the all too tight

and absolutely unnecessary inner-wears

She removes all the dos and don’ts carefully taught

and with a swing throws them out.

They rise up above, higher and higher

as a bird having no heart to ever return

to the world at all.

காலம் உறைந்த சட்டகம்

வீட்டிலிருந்து

தன்னை விடுவித்துக்கொண்ட பெண் தான் வந்தடைந்த தனி வீட்டின் சுவர்க்கடிகாரத்தைக் கழற்றி மறைத்துவைக்கிறாள்

நாட்காட்டியின் தாள்களை கொத்தாகக் கிழித்தெறிகிறாள்

அலைபேசியை அணைத்துவைத்தபின் காலத்துறப்பின் களிப்பேறி மினுங்கும் முகத்தை கண்ணாடியில் பார்க்கிறாள்.

இனி அவளது

பொழுதுகளுக்கும்

உணவு வேளைகளுக்கும் பெயர்களில்லை

நண்பர்களாலோ எதிரிகளாலோ தட்டப்படாத கதவில்

படியும் காலத்தின் தூசியைக் குறித்தொரு விசனமுங் கொள்ள வேண்டியதில்லை

இறுக்கமானதும் அவசியமற்றுப் போனதுமான உள்ளாடைகளைக்

கழற்றி எறிந்ததுபோல

கற்பிக்கப்பட்ட ஒழுங்கனைத்தையும்

கழற்றி சுழற்றி வீசுகிறாள்

அவை மேலே மேலே செல்கின்றன

பூமிக்குத் திரும்பவே மனமற்ற ஒரு பறவையைப் போல.
