BY BUTTERFLIES
Visiting the open courtyard of my house
ever so often
fly wandering rapturously
eye-filling magnificent butterflies
When they arrive thus
mostly they don’t come empty-handed.
Carrying all the way
the fragrance of wild flowers
hitherto beyond human nostrils
and sprinkling them all over the house
they return.
In those minuscule moments
blossoms within me
A Massive Grand Floral Forest.
பட்டாம்பூச்சிகள் உதிர்க்கும் வாசனை

என் வீட்டு முன்றலுக்கு
இடைக்கிடை
அழையா விருந்தாளியென வந்து
அலாதியாக பறந்து திரிகின்றன
கண்களை கவரும் பட்டாம் பூச்சிகள்
அவ்வாறு பிரசன்னமாகும் போது
அனேகமாக சும்மா வருவதில்லை
இதுவரை யாராலும் நுகர முடியா
காட்டுப் பூக்களின் வாசனையை
சுமந்து வந்து வீடெங்கும்
உதிர்த்தி விட்டுதான் திரும்பிச் செல்கின்றன
அச் சிறு கணங்களினிடை
எனக்குள் முகிழ்கிறது மாபெரும் பூக்காடு.

(2) LAUGHTER OF CHILDREN READING DARKNESS
Day after day I melt and dissolve in the all too sweet laughter of children
When they kiss me on the forehead
through the ecstasy unparalleled
when I feel the non-stop kisses
with their tender palmyrafruit pressing softly
A cluster of fireflies
flutter winking,
reading my heart’s dark.
The laughter of fireflies resembles
the 'never to taste sour' grape juice _
no matter how much you drink
As radiance swells and overflows
in that laughter
in houses were children dwell
Darkness can’t prevail..
2. இருளை வாசிக்கும் குழந்தைகளின் சிரிப்பு

கள்ளங் கபடமற்ற
செல்லக் குழந்தைகளின்
வெல்லச் சிரிப்பினில்
நிதம் கரைந்து போகிறேன்
அவர்களென் நுதல் பொட்டிலிடு்ம்
நுங்கிதழ் பதிந்த
இடையுறா முத்தங்களை உணரும்
எல்லையற்ற பரவசத்தின் கணங்களிடை
ஒரு தொகை மின்மினிகள்
என் மனசின் இருளை வாசித்தபடி
கண்சிமிண்டிப் பறக்கின்றன
அருந்தருந்த தெவிட்டாமலிருக்கும்
திராட்சைப் பழச்சாற்றின்
தீராச் சுவையினை ஒத்தது
மின்மினிகளின் இதழ் சிந்தும் சிரிப்பு
அச்சிரிப்பினில் ஔி நிரம்பி
பீரிட்டு வழிவதனால்
குழந்கைள் வசிக்கும் வீடுகளில்
இருளிருக்க சாத்தியமில்லை
