GOOD MORNING

How to send this Good Morning

Severing all connections you remain a primordial being

Being an island surrounded on all sides by the vast sea.

Wish I had trained a bird

Wrapping my love with its wings it would have brought it to you

Shall I climb the peak and proclaim standing there

Won’t the words air-borne

become time-worn

Can write it in the cloud

Of those thousands of clouds ever on the run

Alas, how will you identify this tiny one!

My little girl!

This ‘Greeting’ is exclusively for thee.

Ere the moisture of affection on each letter dry up

I should disclose this

Stretching the hand of memory that tends

to extend

I touch thee

And now I tell here

Good Morning, My Dear.

காலை வணக்கம்

-----------------------வேலணையூர்-தாஸ்

எப்படி அனுப்புவது இந்த காலை வணக்கத்தை

வைபர் வட்சாப் ஈ மெயில் எல்லாம் இருக்கிறது

தொடர்புகளை துண்டித்து

ஆதி கால மனுசியாகி இருக்கிறாய்

நீண்ட கடல் சூழ்ந்த தீவாகிறாய்

நான் ஒரு பறவையை பழக்கியிருக்கலாம்

என் பிரியத்தை சிறகினால்

பொத்தி வந்து கொடுத்திருக்கும்.

உயரத்தில் ஏறி நின்று உரக்க சொல்லிவிடவா

காற்று காவி வரும் வார்த்தைகளுக்கு

வயதாகி விடாதா!

மேகத்தில் எழுதி விடலாம்

ஓடும் ஆயிரம் மேகங்களில்

எப்படி கண்டு கொள்வாய் இந்த துண்டு மேகத்தை!

என் சின்னப்பெண்ணே!

உனக்கான வணக்கம் இது

ஒவ்வொரு எழுத்திலும் இருக்கிற அன்பின் ஈரம் காயும் முன்

இதை சொல்லி விடவேண்டும்

நீள நினைக்கிற நினைவின் கை நீட்டி

உன்னை தொடுகிறேன்

இப்போது சொல்கிறேன்
