For gifting you when we meet I have trapped some clouds

You speak about your downpours

Hunger and starvation aren’t something
we’re unaware of.

The river flowing downward from above
we are of fish-clan that swim against it.

Seasons come and go.

The trees so deep-rooted and grown tall know well
how to wade through the summer.

Rain exclusively for us
is very close.

At the very instant when I start hearing your voice
The rain would’ve commenced it’s dance delirious.

In the streaming fluid
let the body-heat repose a little.

நாம் சந்திக்கும் போது பரிசளிப்பதற்காக சில மேகங்களை சிறைப்பிடித்து வைத்திருந்தேன்.
உன்னுடைய பொழிதல்களைப் பற்றிச் சொல்கிறாய்.
பசியும் பட்டினியும்
நாமறியாததா என்ன .
மேலிருந்து கீழே பாயும் நதி
நாம் அதனை எதிர்த்து நீந்தும் கயலினம்.
பருவங்கள் வரும் போகும்
வேர்ப்பிடித்து உயர வளர்ந்து நிற்கும் மரங்களறியும்
கோடையினைக் கடக்கும் சூட்சுமம்.
நமக்கான மழை மிகச் சமீபத்திலிருக்கிறது
உன்னுடைய குரலைக் கேட்கும் நொடியில்
மழை மிக மூர்க்கமாக ஆடத் துவங்கியிருக்கும்.
பெருகியோடும் நீர்மத்தில்
உடற்சூடு சற்றே ஓய்வெடுக்கட்டும்.
