When even the

‘prickly pear cactuses
scattered at the poet’s feet
appear as
clusters of literary flowers
Why not these Bougainvilleas
as the verses of
Veyyon, the Bard
blooming in the
Beloved’s Courtyard …?

#போகன்_வில்லாக்கள்

கவிஞனின் காலடியில்
கொட்டிக்கிடக்கும் கல்லி முட்கள் கூட
இலக்கிய பூக்களாய்
தெரியும்போது..,
ஏன் இந்த போகன்-வில்லாக்கள்
காதலியின் முற்றத்தில்
பூத்துக்குலுங்கும்
வெய்யோனின் கவிதைகளாக
தெரியக்கூடாது..¿
