A LITTLE DARKNESS

A thousand droplets of rain

as the tuning pegs of Guitar

Each object touched

is a string

A song

A meaning

A music on the soil

A music on the tree

A music on the ceiling

If on the head sans roof

Just the sound of the shadows of snails

being stamped

would be heard

As having time for dance and revelry

but not for praying only

_ a functional fallacy.

ஆயிரம் மழைத் துளிகள்

கித்தாரின் மீட்டுமிகளாகத்

தொட்ட ஒவ்வொரு பொருளும்

ஒரு நாண்

ஒரு பாடல்

ஒரு பொருள்

மண்ணில் ஒரு இசை

மரத்தில் ஒரு இசை

கூரையில் ஒரு இசை

கூரையற்றவர் தலை எனிலோ

மிதிபடும் நத்தைகளின் நிழல்களின்

ஓசை மட்டுமே கேட்கும்

கூத்தாட நேரமிருக்கிறது

கும்பிட மட்டும் நேரமில்லை

என்பது போல

ஒரு இயக்க மயக்கம்
