The little girl doing somersaults non-stop

unmindful of the loosening of her shirt

has learnt to ignore the borderline of Love

that keeps approaching

all the time

getting erased.

With no stickiness of sweat

From her hand-sand

Vowels drop erroneously.

Turning the left thumb

into the tip of compass

Lifting the right leg up to her hip

bowing

when she draws

the circle

She never minds those

who metamorphose into

sunflowers.

to a fellow-girl

who extends her half-relished lollipop

towards her

she gives a chalk-piece

and asks her to change the date

in her old classroom.

While gulping a mouthful of water

He who struggles so hard

changes the song

thereby making the bell ringing

after interval

for the next class

go unheard.

சட்டையின் தளர்வு குறித்த

கவலையின்றி

தொடர் கரணம் அடிக்கும் சிறுமி

அழிந்து கொண்டே நெருங்கி வரும்

அன்பின் எல்லைக்கோட்டை உதாசீனப்படுத்தப் பழகிக் கொண்டாள்.

வியர்வையின் பிசுபிசுப்பின்றி

அவள் கைமணலிலிருந்து

பிழையாகவே உதிர்கின்றன உயிரெழுத்துகள்.

இடது பெருவிரலை

காம்பஸின் முனையாக்கி

வலது காலை இடுப்பு வரை தூக்கி வணங்கியபடி

வட்டம் வரையும் போது

சூரியகாந்தியாக மாறுபவர்களை

ஒருபோதும் பொருள்படுத்துவதில்லை.

எதைப் பற்றியும் யோசிக்காமல்

தன் கையிலிருக்கும்

எச்சில் லாலிபாப்பை நீட்டும்

சக சிறுமியிடம்

சாக்பீஸ் துண்டொன்றைக் கொடுத்து

தன் பழைய வகுப்பறையில்

தேதியை மாற்றச் சொல்கிறாள்.

ஒரு மடக்கு தண்ணீர் அருந்தும்போது

இடைவேளை முடிந்து

அடுத்த வகுப்புக்கான மணியடிப்பது

கேட்காதபடி, பாட்டை மாற்றுகிறான்

பெரும்பாடு படுபவன்.
