The pollen –grains in millions stuck on the butterflies

swaying in the branch this way and that way

soaked in henna-red

defying the intense penance of the algae

the immaculate White of the ‘Valampuri Sangu’

lying deep down

is your laughter

The eyes turned red in silence upside down

The soft lips would hold tight

with the care of peacock plume

In a lone soft moan

many an overalls and en blocs

The venom of serpent

turning the nerves taut

soaked and surging frog-life

the raging heat

So

the river-kisses clasping the pebbles

brim and swell

becoming the fish in the blue-heron’s beak

இடதும் வலதுமாய்

கிளையில் அசையும் பட்டாம்பூச்சிகளில்

ஒட்டிக்கிடக்கும் மகரந்த துகள்

ஆயிரங்கோடி மருதானிச்சிவப்பில் ஊறி

நீர்ப்பாசிகளின் கடுந்தவத்தை மீறி

ஆழத்தில் கிடக்கும் வலம்புரிச் சங்கின்

வெண்மை உனது சிரிப்பு

தலைகீழ் மௌனத்தில் சிவந்த விழிகளை

மயிற்பீலி வாஞ்சையோடு தழுவும்

மென்இதழ்கள்

ஒரு சினுங்கலில் தொலையும் ஒட்டுமொத்தங்கள்

நரம்பிறுக்கும் நாகவிஷம்

தவளையின் உயிரூறிய

கடுந் தகிப்பு

ஆக

கூழாங்கற்களை தழுவும் நதி முத்தங்கள்

நீலநாரையின் அலகில் மீனாகி

ததும்புகின்றது
