In the courtyard where the sparrows played

at the instant when the squirrels’ hop

ceased to be

Elder brother who was taken away before receiving the rice-balls so lovingly rounded by her

Alas, how could he have disappeared without a trace!!!

Feeling shy and face glowing

She joy-personified saying that her marriage was on the day after

They took away ‘Sevviakkaa’ just for interrogation

But then…

Riddles remain unraveled

But for the fact that

along with her torn blouse

besides the dead body

in the temple well

bloated and swollen

with the post-mortem report confirming

sexual assault…..

The lifelines of younger uncle

embedded in the chariot-rope

being drawn there

have not yet disappeared.

As if with the hope of returning

holding me close one last time

and planting a tender kiss

saying ‘I will be back tomorrow

bidding farewell and leaving….

Oh, my dear father _

How come he had turned into

a query unanswerable …..

Well, leave those apprehended by thee

at least those whom we had handed over

what has befallen them

• புலுனிகள் விளையாடிய

முற்றத்தில்

அணில்களின் துள்ளல்

அடங்கிப்போனதொரு நொடியில்

அம்மா

உருட்டிய கவளங்களை

வாங்கும் முன்பே

கொண்டு போகப்பட்ட அண்ணன்

எப்படி

காணாமல் போயிருப்பான்!!!!!

நாளைக்கு தான் கலியாணமென்று

முகமெல்லாம் சிவந்து

வாயெல்லாம் பல்லாய் நின்ற

செல்வியக்காவை

விசாரணைக்கு தானே

அழைத்து போனார்கள்

விடுகதைகள் விடுபடவேயில்லை

அவளது கிழிந்த

சட்டையோடு

கோயில் கிணற்றில்

ஊதிப் பெருத்திருந்த

வன்புணரப்பட்டதாய்

மருத்துவ அறிக்கையொன்று சொன்ன

சடலத்தை தவிர

அதோ இழுக்கப்படுகிற

தேரின் வடத்தில்

பதிந்து கிடக்கும்

சின்ன மாமாவின் ரேகைகள்

இன்னும் அழியவில்லை

திரும்பி வருவாரென்ற

நம்பிக்கையில் போலும்

கடைசியாக

ஓமந்தையில் வைத்து

இறுக்கியணைத்தொரு

முத்தம் தந்து

நாளை வருவேனென்று

விடை பெற்ற அப்பா

வினாவானதெப்படி!!!!!!

நீங்கள் பிடித்தவர்களை

விட்டு விடலாம்

நாங்கள் கொடுத்தவர்களாவது

என்னவானார்களென்று

ஏதேனும் தெரிகிறதா

எல்லோருக்கும் ஒரே பெயர் தான்

காணாமல் ஆக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்
