Approving analyzing rejecting contemplating

Words umpteen

uttered by all those

and more

Time has gone past.

Even after the incessant din and noise of

all these days

that which endures and excels

is but the sentence mother used to mention

all too often

born of her lived experience:

Should live and leave

with no trail nor heave.

ஓயாத சலசலப்புக்குப் பின்னும்

நின்று நிலைத்து

ஒளிர்வதென்னவோ

அம்மா அடிக்கடி சொல்லும்

அனுபவ வாக்கியம்தான்:

இருக்கிறவரை

இருந்த இடம் தெரியாம

இருந்துட்டுப் போயிரணும்.
