GOD’S PLAY

God wanted to stage a play

For acting in it

He searched for an actor

among the people

None dared to act in front of God

Seeing that among his creation

acting talent has waned

He bemoaned.

I seated there as a viewer

had a discussion with God about this

and arrived at a decision

I underlined all those

who gave us promises for centuries

God commanded me to bring them all

I brought them on the stage all set

And there began God’s Play in right earnest.

கடவுளின் நாடகம்

கடவுள் நாடகமொன்றை அரங்கேற்ற விரும்பினார்.

நடிப்பதற்காக மக்களிடத்தே

நடிகனை தேடினார்

எவருக்கும் கடவுள் முன் நடிக்க துணிவில்லை.

தன் படைப்பில்

நடிக்கும் ஆற்றல் பின்னடைவானதைக் கண்டு புலம்பினார்.

பார்வையாளனாக அமர்ந்திருந்த நான்

கடவுளிடம் இது பற்றி கலந்துரையாடி தீர்வுக்கு வந்தேன்.

நூற்றாண்டுகளாக எமக்கு வாக்குறுதிகள் தந்தவர்களை அடிக்கோடிட்டு காண்பித்தேன்.

அவர்களை அழைத்து வரும்படி கடவுள் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

தயார் நிலையில் இருந்த மேடைக்கு அவர்களை அழைத்து வந்தேன்.

இனி கடவுளின் ஆட்டம் ஆரம்பமானது.
