FATAL THAN FATE

Just as the candyextended by

the mother

towards the child

for getting the doll

that the child refuses

to let go

Before snatching so mercilessly

the one thing

that I held so firmly

with the resolve to

never lose it

It is but you God

revealed to me

How can I forget?

ஊழிற் பெருவலி

குழந்தை

கொடுக்க மறுக்கும்

பொம்மையை

வாங்குவதற்காக

அதன் முன்

அம்மா நீட்டும்

இனிப்பை போல,

இழக்கவே மாட்டேன்

எப்போதுமென்று

இறுகப் பற்றியிருந்த

ஒன்றை

என்னிடமிருந்து

இரக்கமின்றிப்

பறிப்பதற்கு முன்

கடவுள் உன்னைத்தான்

கண்ணில் காட்டினார்

எப்படி மறப்பேன்?
