HE IS BEING BETRAYED

Not just the belly

but he has hands too

He toils day and night

His minutes dissolve with rest remaining unknown.

Produces mushroom as mosquitoes

He turns Amoeba into an elephant.

Money seems to reach his hands

but evaporates as heated water

As changing attires the buildings change the identities

of agricultural lands

The digital world eats the soul of man

Dreams he has that are breaking as balloons.

He goes to work daily.

returns with a desperate heart

His office goes on gradually sucking his life.

His family is being singed in desolation.

Somewhere faraway the revelry of prosperity

Rings uproariously.

It’s songs were written by This One.

Could hear the sound of wind playing in

Empty rice-pots.

Not just the belly

but he has two hands too.

He starves

Toils forgetting his fatigue

In hunger

Not just his self but his family so dear

He sets afire.

அவன் ஏமாற்றப் பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறான்

அவனுக்கு

வயிறு மட்டுமல்ல

இரண்டு கைகளும் இருக்கின்றன

இரவும் பகலும் உழைக்கிறான்

ஓய்வு அறியாமல் அவனது நிமிடங்கள் கரைகின்றன

உற்பத்திகள் கொசுக்களாய் வளர்கின்றன

அமீபாவை யானையாக்குகிறான்

பணம் அவன் கைக்கு வருவது போல் வந்து

சூடுபட்ட நீராய் மறைந்து போகிறது

ஆடைகளை மாற்றுவது போல கட்டிடங்கள் விளை நிலங்களின்

அடையாளங்களை மாற்றுகின்றன

மின்னணு யுகம் மனிதனின் ஆன்மாவைத் தின்கிறது

பலூன்களாய் உடைந்தபடி அவனிடம் கனவுகள் இருக்கின்றன

அவன் தினமும் வேலைக்குப் போகிறான்

விரக்தியான இருதயத்தோடே திரும்புகிறான்

தொழிலகம் அவனது உயிரை மெல்ல உறிஞ்சிக் கொண்டேயிருக்கிறது

அவனது குடும்பம் வெறுமையில் இடைவிடாது வேகுகிறது

எங்கையோ செழிப்பின் களியாட்டத்தின் ஆராவரம் ஒலிக்கிறது

அதன் பாடல்களை இவன் எழுதினான்

காலியான அரிசிப் பானைகளில்

காற்று விளையாடும் சப்தம் கேட்கிறது

அவனுக்கு வயிறுமட்டுமல்ல

இரண்டு கைகளும் இருக்கிறது

அவன் பட்டினி கிடக்கிறான்

அசதி மறந்து உழைக்கிறான்

பசியில் தன்னோடு

குடும்பத்தையும் எரிக்கிறான்.
