Upon the terrible sorrow that stretches on and on

spreads

the shadow of night.

In the heart desolate as the daytime deprived of the stars

Memory-bubbles make their exit gradually.

Woes and miseries that grip you hard

as the cruel claws of’Sarabam’, _

the mythical eight-legged bird _

and are devouring you

are but the leftovers of birth previous.

Eating away all words in secrecy

the trails of silence flourish.

In reminiscences that burn circling thee

despite knowing fully well that it is all a big zero

ponderings so deeply meditative

do find a place without fail.

Succor from your soothing words that

being trapped in the black hole and

remaining unseen

and the fingers’ fondly caressing the hair

might be reclaimed

in a few days

or in several Light-years.

Till that time

except burying the face between the window-bars

and going hand in hand with the void seen outside

no other choice for me

with eyes lost.

உடைபடாமல்

நீண்டுகொண்டிருக்கும்

பெருந்துனியின்

மேல் படர்கிறது.,

இரவின் நிழல்.

பஞ்சிதங்களைத் தொலைத்த பகல்பொழுதாய்

வெறிச்சோடிய மனதுக்குள் மெதுமெதுவாய் வெளியேறுகின்றன.,

ஞாபகக் குமிழ்கள்.

சரபத்தின் கொடுநகங்களாய்

அழுந்தப் பற்றி

விழுங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கும்

வருத்தங்கள்.,

பூர்வத்தின் மிச்சம்.

உலர்ந்த உதடுகளின்

வார்த்தைகள்

யாவற்றையும்

யாருமறியா வண்ணம் தின்று கொழுக்கின்றன.,

மௌனத்தின் தடங்கள்.

சுழியமென அறிந்தும்

உனைச் சுற்றியே

எரிந்திடும் நினைவுக்குறிப்புகளில்

நீங்காமல் இடம்பெறுகின்றன.,

ஆழ்நிலை தவங்கள்.

கருந்துளைக்குள்

அடைபட்டு காணமுடியாமலே

போன உன்

ஆதுரச் சொற்களின் ஆசுவாசமும்,

அங்குலிகளின் சிகைகோதலும்

மீட்கப்படலாம்.,

ஒருசில நாளில்.,

அல்லது சில ஒளியாண்டுகளில்.

அதுவரைக்கும் .,

சன்னல் கம்பிகளுக்கிடையே

முகம்புதைத்து வெளியே தெரியும்

எல்லையற்ற வெறுமையோடு

கைகோர்ப்பதைத் தவிர வேறு வழியில்லை.,

விழி தொலைத்த எனக்கு.

துனி- துன்பம்,வலி

பஞ்சிதம்-விண்மீன்

சரபம்- சிங்கத்தையே எதிர்க்கும் எண்காலுடைய பறவை

கருந்துளை- பேரண்டங்களுக்கிடையிலான இடைவெளி,உள் நுழைந்தால் ஒன்றுமில்லாமல் போகும் மாயம்.
