TIME- POLISHING BRUSHES

Applying polish on the shoes of his son

The father was telling him the tale of

how footwear proved a great dream

rubbing the black shade more and more

There remained shining

those years bygone.

While his son walked on

the sound of a globe being kicked

between the legs and Time

came out through the shoes-worn legs.

When he lay there with his legs

stretching and touching the clouds

The moon was polishing his shoes

with dark clouds.

The legs that were not there

wore black to the core.
