RESENTMENT

Don’t show me that

You don’t like me that

You don’t caress me

as if the vanishing evening clouds bring

chillness in a flash

That you can’t bear the heights I have scaled

Oh don’t cause the shower of indifference

as a point of reference.

With a forced smile

You need not greet me

who is beyond the borders defined by thee.

It is my progress that causes you terrible anguish

as the groundless envy of a child, isn’t it?

Why is it that the magnanimity of saying it straight

proves elusive to thee

unlike it being natural in me.

Any applause given straight to my face

I would count them as productive weapons aimed at me

Fell me whom you have never liked

I would be sprouting for ever and ever.

Standing atop assumptions and presumptions

the vultures sent by thee

reach me but belatedly.

Come on. Cut me off

I would go on sprouting

Uproot me I say

I would sprinkle seeds all the way.

உங்களுக்கு என்னைப் பிடிக்கவில்லை என்பதை

திடீரென மறையும் அந்திமேகமாய்

காற்று கொண்டுவரும் குளிர்ச்சியால் வருடாதீர்

எனது உயரத்தை உங்களால் ஒருபோதும்

தாங்கமுடிவதில்லை என்பதை மறைமுக

உதாசீன மழையாகப் பொழியாதீர்

உங்கள் வரையறைக்குள் வரமுடியாத

என்னை

வலுக்கட்டாயமான சிரித்த முகத்துடன்

வரவேற்க வேண்டாமே

என் வளர்ச்சிதானே ஒரு சிறு பிள்ளையின் காரணமறியா அழுக்காறாக உங்களைப்

பாடாய்ப் படுத்துகிறது

நேர்முகமாய்ச் சொல்லுகிற அந்த பெருந்தன்மை என்னைப்போல்

ஏன் உங்களுக்கு வாய்க்கவில்லை

சூசகத்தின் உச்சங்களில் இருந்துகொண்டு

மறைமுக யூகவெளிகளில் நீங்கள் அனுப்பும்

பிணந்தின்னிக் கழுகுகள் என்னைத் தாமதாமாகவே வந்தடைகின்றன

என்றாவது முகத்திற்கு நேராய்

நிகழ்ந்து விடுகிற பாராட்டை

என்மீது எறியப்படும் நேராயுதமெனவே கருதுவேன்

உங்களுக்கு ஒருபோதும் பிடிக்காத

என்னை வெட்டுங்கள்

துளிர்தளிர்விட்டு வளர்வேன்

வேரொடு பிடுங்குங்கள்

விதைகளைத் தூவுவேன்
