The book of the She

who while reading

inadvertently tears the tip of a page

Inside, the tale of a pair of lovers

They conversing in one page

running, happily chasing each other

in another

Exchanging kisses in yet another.

The joyously wandering lovers

part in the final page.

The reader who continues writing it

even beyond that

is still there

with one leg inside the book

and the other outside.

படித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கையில்

அறியாது அனிச்சையாய்

புத்தகக் காகித முனையை

இலேசாகக் கிழிப்பவளது புத்தகம்…

உள்ளே இரு காதலர்களின் கதை

ஒரு பக்கத்தில் பேசி

ஒரு பக்கத்தில் ஓடி

ஒரு பக்கத்தில் முத்தங்களைப் பரிமாறி

சுற்றித் திரியும் காதலர்கள்

கடைசிப் பக்கத்தில் பிரிகின்றனர்….

அதற்கடுத்தும்

அக் கதையை தொடர்ந்து எழுதும் வாசகன்

இன்னும் இருக்கத்தான் செய்கிறான்

புத்தகத்திற்குள் ஒரு காலையும்

வெளியே ஒரு காலையும் வைத்தபடி.
