To carry out their duties

left unfinished

The clouds have arrived.

Having the clouds as blanket

Providing solace in the biting cold

the Sun is sleeping.

Being neither here nor there

while in the middle

indolence is sown

in Neurons.

With he who has sowed with hope

retrieving that which was lost

The boy hope-filled goes on a Padhayathra.

The rain that pours down

for hiding the tears of father

at the moment of coming face to face

Ho – what to call it – I am at a loss

When He with the wholesome realization of

any and everything

writes himself again and again

and erasing it anon

there takes shape a sculpture

as never before.

விட்டுச் சென்ற கடமைகளை

முடிக்க வந்திருக்கின்றன

மேகங்கள்

குளிருக்கு இதமாக மேகங்களை போர்வைகளாக்கி

தூங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறான் கதிரவன்

அங்குமில்லாது

இங்குமில்லாது

இடைப்பட்டு நிற்கும்போது

நியூரான்களில் சோம்பலை விதைக்கிறது

விதைத்தவன் நம்பி இழந்தவற்றை மீட்க

பாலகன் நம்பிக்கையோடு

பாதயாத்திரை போகிறான்

இடைப்பட்டு சந்திக்கும் தருணத்தில்

தந்தையின் கண்களில் சுரக்கும் கண்ணீரை

மறைக்க பொழிகின்ற மழையை

என்னவெனச் சொல்லி அழைக்க

யாவற்றையும் உணர்ந்தவன்

திரும்பத் திரும்ப தன்னையெழுதி எழுதி

அழிக்கும் போது

புதியதாக உருப் பெருகிறதொரு சிற்பம்.
