The past leaving my memory

Water made me colourless

The scattering of light piercing the water

The light caused by water

The lilting sounds produced by water

The queries rising in the stir of water

Inside the closed eyelids

Water’s eyelids wide-opened

Keys of the closed doors

of Water

For the shore of this side

Water’s appearance This

For the shore on the other side

Water’s appearance That

For the shore within

You are the semblance of water

names too many in between

Everywhere _

sea flooding the shores

and

shattering _

Woodland.

முன்பிருந்தது நினைவில் இல்லாமல்

நீரினால் நிறமற்றவனாக ஆனேன்

நீர் ஊடுருவும் ஒளிச் சிதறல்

நீர் உருவாக்கும் வெளிச்சம்

நீர் தரும் அசையொலி

நீர் சலனத்தில் எழும் கேள்விகள்

மூடிய இமைகளுக்குள்

நீரின் திறந்த இமைகள்

நீரின் மூடிய கதவுகளின்

சாவிகள்

இக்கரைக்கு நீரின் தோற்றம் இது

அக்கரைக்கு நீரின் தோற்றம் அது

உட்கரைக்கு நீரின் தோற்றம் நீ

இடையில் பெயர்கள் பல

எங்கெங்கும் கடல்

கரைகள் மீறி

உடைக்கும்
