MOON MEDICINAL

Reflecting on Moon

in Darkness Absolute

is consummate

Just as playfully placing the foot

on the belly of the lying Mani

we can do in the moonlight.

Just as

Mani not knowing any difference between

legs and hands

lying stretched with face up

and showing its belly

seeking comfort

the pale Blue radiance would

start spreading from the feet

The well in the garden

with its one track

getting submerged in the moon.

Yet, going outside then

and drinking a mugful of water

so cool we can stand

as the very moon.

We need Darkness

Reflection on Moon

and the Moon.

அந்தகாரத்தின் நிலவு ஞாபகம்

ஒரு பூரணம்.

படுத்துக் கிடக்கும் மணியின் வயிற்றில்

செல்லமாய்க் கால் வைப்பது போல

நிலவொளியில் பதியலாம்

கால் கை என்றறியாத

மணி

மல்லாந்து சௌகரியத்திற்காக

வயிற்றைக் காண்பிப்பது போல

வெளிர்நீல வெளிச்சம்

பாதங்களிலிருந்து பரவிச் செல்லும்.

தோட்டத்துக் கிணறு

ஒரு வழி

நிலவில் மூழ்க.

ஆனால் ஒரு குவளைத் தண்ணீரை

அப்போது வெளியில் சென்று

அருந்த

சில்லென்று

நிலவாய் நிற்கலாம்.

அந்தகாரம் வேண்டும்

நிலவின் ஞாபகம் வேண்டும்.

நிலவு வேண்டும்.
