A DUEL WITH DEATH

I wish to die

I need a rope two-cubit long

I wish to die

I need two drops of venom

I wish to die

With a few words of yours

I wish to die

With a few incidents of your memories

My life moved ahead by events

My Death is designed by events

Till the halt of events

My body would be running incessantly

And then would cease to be

Love lust hunger disease blood urine

Saliva

_ everything that runs within my body

Have stopped their run

And are dripping from the rim of vacuum

As the alphabets of my name

From letters grew my meaning

My Being at night is away from my writing

Writing the Writing with letters

is in fact a damn easy task

write it with your body said thee and left

despite knowing blood comes out of body

you commanded me to write an epic in blood

mockingly contemptuously

as your slipper-worn footprint

ingrained in the wet-sand of my tomb

I wish to die.

In my eyes this world would grow dark

One and all humans would be buried in my

Vision

Plants and animals sea horizon land fire

So the whole lot of spirits would extinguish

I wish to die

Wish to die within thee

As a word you no more remember

As a dream that cannot be revived

Through sobs all too dense; intense

As a lament sung with counts forgotten

I wish to die within thee

I wish to die

as the celebration of music

I wish to die

as a tiny plant

grown beneath a mammoth tree

being unable to get soaked in rain unleashed

with the longing to feel the showers

prolonging, outpouring

I wish to die

Swallowing the baked peacock egg

Swallowing the elephant’s membrum virile

Swallowing the cat’s lust

I wish to die

As the lone sailor of the ship

with its direction lost

As the pilot of a single-pilot fighter plane

As the Buddhist god waving his hand

from the ruins of the forsaken town

As the two babies with mothers reversed

I wish to die

I wish to die

As balloon desired by the child

As ice-cream desired by the child

As Satan desired by the child

As God desired by the child

As Mother desired by the child

As Father desired by the child

As Dog Ghost the Full Moon desired by the child

I wish to die

As the first ever word the child desires to utter.

இரு முழம் கயிறு வேண்டும்

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

இரு துளி நஞ்சு வேண்டும்

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

உனது இரண்டொரு சொற்களால்

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

உனது நினைவுகளின் இரண்டொரு நிகழ்வுகளால்

நிகழ்வுகளால் நகர்த்தப்பட்டது எனது வாழ்க்கை

நிகழ்வுகளால் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டது எனது மரணம்

நிகழ்வுகளிலிருந்து நிறுத்தம்வரை

ஓயாமல் ஓடி அடங்குவது எனது உடம்பு

உடம்புக்குள் ஓடும் காதல் காமம் பசி பிணி குருதி மூத்திரம் எச்சில்

எல்லாம் தமது ஓட்டம் நிறுத்தி

சூனியத்தின் விளிம்பிலிருந்து சொட்டுகின்றன

எனது பெயரின் ஒவ்வொரு எழுத்தாக

எழுத்திலிருந்து வளர்ந்தது எனது பொருள்

எழுத்திலிருந்து விலகியது எனது அல் இருப்பு

எழுத்தை எழுத்தால் எழுதிவிடுவது மிக எளிய செயல்

அதை உனது உடம்பால் எழுது எனச் சொல்லிப் போனாய்

உடம்பிலிருந்து வருவது குருதி என அறிந்தும்

குருதியால் என்னை ஒரு காவியம் எழுதப் பணித்தாய்

கேலியாக நக்கலாக

எனது சவக்குழி ஈரமேட்டில் பதியும்

செருப்பணிந்த உனது காலடிச் சுவடாக

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

என் கண்களில் இந்த உலகம் இருளும்

எல்லா மனிதர்களும் எனது பார்வைக்குள் புதைவர்

தாவரம் விலங்கினம் கடல் விசும்பு நிலம் நெருப்பு

என எல்லா ஆவிகளும் அவிந்துவிடும்

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

ஆசைப்படுகிறேன் உன்னுள் செத்துவிட

நீ மறந்த ஒரு சொல்லாய்

மீண்டும் நினைவுகொள்ள முடியாத கனவாய்

தீவிரமான அழுகையினூடாக

கணக்கு வைத்துப் பாடமறந்த ஓர் ஒப்பாரியாக

நான் ஆசைப்படுகிறேன் உன்னுள் செத்துவிட

செத்துவிட வேண்டும் இசைக் குதூகலமாய்

செத்துவிட வேண்டும் கவிதைக் கொண்டாட்டமாய்

செத்துவிட வேண்டும் ஒரு பெருமழையில்

நனைய முடியாத பெருமரத்தின் அடியில் முளைத்த

சிறு செடியாக நீரைத் தீண்டும் ஏக்கத்தோடு

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

அவித்த மயில் முட்டையை விழுங்கி

புலியின் விந்தை விழுங்கி

யானையின் லிங்கம் விழுங்கி

பூனையின் காமம் விழுங்கி

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

திசை தொலைந்த கப்பலின் தனித்த மாலுமியாய்

ஓர் ஆள் அமரும் போர் விமானியாய்

கைவிடப்பட்ட ஊரின் சிதிலங்களுக்குள்ளிருந்து

கையசைக்கும் பௌத்தக் கடவுளாய்

மகப்பேறு மருத்துவமனையில்

தாய் மாறிச் சென்ற இரு குழந்தைகளாய்

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

குழந்தை விழையும் பலூனாக

குழந்தை விழையும் ஐஸ்கிரீமாக

குழந்தை விழையும் சாத்தானாக

குழந்தை விழையும் கடவுளாக

குழந்தை விழையும் தாயாக

குழந்தை விழையும் தந்தையாக

நாயாக பேயாக குழந்தை விழையும் முழுநிலாவாக

நான் செத்துவிட ஆசைப்படுகிறேன்

குழந்தை உச்சரிக்க விழையும் முதல் சொல்லாக.
