1. INSIDE AND OUTSIDE A DREAM

I have got out of a dream that made me weep

How much I would have cried

My face feels sticky

Never has there been any link

between the day and the dream

Wiping off being outside

the absurd tears

that have got out of the dream

is an act that that shames one’s own self.

It is a fish that while leaping in the water

has fallen on the shore

We can eat the fallen fish

But how absurd it is to wipe off

the moisture,

de-linked with the outside,

outside

When a dream searches for the wetness

of its sob

how disappointed it would feel

Anguished I feel but know not

how to send back this dampness

But this is not pitying the moisture

This heart is indeed intricate; obstinate

The reason for all these

being

the freedom in dream

for sobbing unrestrained

with no sense of shame.

இவ்வளவுக்கும் காரணம்

ஒரு அழவைத்தக் கனவிலிருந்து வந்திருக்கிறேன்

எந்த அளவிற்கு அழுதிருக்க வேண்டும்

முகம் பிசு பிசுக்கிறது

நாளுக்கும் கனவுக்கும் ஒருபோதும் சம்மந்தமிருந்ததில்லை

கனவிலிருந்து வெளியே வந்துவிட்ட

பைத்தியக்காரத்தனமான கண்ணீரை

வெளியே வைத்துத் துடைப்பது

சுயவெட்கம் கவ்வும் செயல்

நீர் நிலையில் துள்ளும்போது

கரையில் விழுந்துவிட்ட மீன் அது

மீனைக் கூட தின்றுவிடலாம்

வெளியேவுக்குத் தொடர்பற்ற ஈரத்தை

வெளியே வைத்துத் துடைப்பது எத்தனை அபத்தம்

ஒரு கனவு தானழுத ஈர்த்தைத் தேடுகையில்

எவ்வளவு ஏமாற்றமாகும்

ஆதங்கம் மேலிடுகிறதே தவிர

இந்த ஈரத்தை திரும்ப அனுப்பிவிடத்தான் தெரியவில்லை

ஆனால் இதுவொன்றும் ஈரம் குறித்தான

பச்சாதாபமில்லை

இந்த மனசு லேசுபட்டதில்லை

கனவில் கேவி கேவி அழுவதற்கிருக்கும்

வெட்கமற்ற தன்மையும்

அந்தச் சுதந்தரமும்தான்

இவ்வளவுக்கும் காரணம்.

2. THE SCENT OF TREASON

At the rim of dream

awaits the dawn 

Its light jutting out a casual day

You dislike always

But, you see

It is the night that you adore

for the dreams

that drags you there.

கனவின் விளிம்பில்

காத்திருக்கிறது வைகறை

இயல்பான ஒரு தினத்தைத் துருத்திக் காண்பிக்கும்

அதன் வெளிச்சம்

உனக்கு பிடிப்பதில்லை

ஆனால் பார்

கனவுகளுக்காக

நீ நேசிக்கும் ராத்திரிதான்

உன்னை அங்கு இழுத்துப்போகிறது.
