You are now with me
Let’s walk on the moon and chat, say thee
Strolling we reach the seashore
Snow spraying softly causing chill
The Moon weaves the night,
the light
This sea and the sand bring memories of your days bygone
You say
It was on one such moon-lit night
that you had planted the first ever kiss
on your beloved, you say
At the opportune time of the Moon disappearing
grabbing her trembling hands
and pulling her close to thee
when you kissed her
her cheeks turned flushed, you say
shivering ecstatically.
This evening reminds me of Swarnalatha’s song
‘Maalayil Yaaroe’, say I
And you remain silent, wonder why.
If Athmanam and Devathatchan were to meet here
what would they converse, I ask
What else, each one would recite a poem _
laughing you remark.
Walking along the shore
we dip our feet in the water
Just as the waves that keep advancing
and retreating
In life there come desires and memories
say I
Your face change.
Our currency value has gone down
Gas, Petrol price sky-rocketing
But you revel in the beauty of Nature and write verses
You scream
You go running in search of
a lone palmyra tree
Leaning against it you stare at the sky
Aloneness
this palm tree
It is the symbol of Aloneness
Aloneness is a state of penance
Aloneness is being truly free
Aloneness is Liberation
Aloneness is Enlightenment
For Buddha it was State
For Newton, it was Apple
For me, the Palmyra..
It is this palm tree that has enlightened me
say thee aloud and laugh heartily.
Well
That you are now with me - all that are mere non-fiction
That you are reading this fiction _
That alone is truth pristine.

நீங்கள் இப்போது என்னுடன் இருக்கிறீர்கள்
நிலவிலே நடந்து பேசலாம் என்கிறீர்கள்
நடந்து கடற்கரை மணல் வெளிக்கு வருகிறோம்
பனி மெல்ல த் தூவி குளிர் செய்கிறது
நிலவு இரவை ஒளியை நெய்கிறது
இந்த கடலும் மணலும் உங்கள் இளமைக்கால ஞாபகங்களை
கொண்டுவருகிறது என்கிறீர்கள்
இப்படி ஒரு நிலவு நாளில் தான்
உங்கள் காதலிக்கு
முதல் முதல் முத்தமிட்ட தாக சொல்கிறீர்கள்
நிலவு மறையும் வேளை பார்த்து அவள் நடுங்கும் நடுங்கும் கரங்களை பற்றி இழுத்து அவளை முத்தமிட்டபோது அவள் கன்னம் சிலேன்றிருந்ததாக சொல்லி சிலிர்க்கிறீர்கள்
இந்த மாலை சொர்ணலதாவின் மாலையில் யாரோ பாடலை ஞாபகப்படுத்துகிறது என்கிறேன் நீங்கள் ஏனோ மௌனமாக இருக்கிறீர்கள்
இந்த நேரம் தேவதச்சனும் மனுஷ்ய புத்திரனும் ஆத்மாநாமும்
இந்த இடத்தில் சந்தித்தால் என்ன பேசுவார்கள் என்கிறேன்
என்ன ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒரு கவிதை வாசிப்பார்கள் என்று சொல்லி சிரிக்கிறீர்கள்
கடற்கரை யில் நடந்து கால் நனைக்கின்றோம் மீள மீள
வந்து திரும்பும் இந்த அலைகள் போல
வாழ்வில் ஆசைகளும் நினைவுகளும் மீள வருகிறது என்கிறேன்
உங்கள் முகம் மாறிவிட்டது
நமது நாணயம் பெறுமதி இறக்கங்கியிருகிறது
காஸ் பெட்ரோல் விலை கூடிவிட்டது விலைவாசி எகிறு கிறது நீங்கள் இயற்கையை ரசித்து கவிதை எழுதுகிறீர்கள் என்று கத்துகிறீர்கள்
தனித்து நிற்கிற ஒற்றை பனையை தேடி ஓடுகிறீர்கள்.
அதில் சாய்ந்து வானத்தை வெறிக்கிறீர்கள்
தனிமை
இந்த பனை இது
தனிமையின் குறியீடு
தனிமை தவம்
தனிமையே விடுதலை
தனிமை ஞானம்
புத்தனுக்கு அரசு
நியூட்டனுக்கு ஆப்பிள்
எனக்கு பனை .....
இந்த தனிமை தான்
ஞானம் தந்தது என்று உரத்துச் சொல்லி சிரிக்கிறீர்கள்

நீங்கள் இப்போது என்னுடன் இருக்கிறீர்கள் என்பதெல்லாம் வெறும் அ புனைவு
நீங்கள் இந்த புனைவை இப்பொழுது வாசித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள் என்பதுமட்டும் தான் உண்மை ......
