1. THE FEAST THAT WAS NOT

Sour, Bitter taste all over the table

Acid of treason brimming in the mug

Bones of spite in the plate

Smile of venom fill the countenances

Feet of snake beneath

Who has organized this

Peace Design

In the eyes of sorcerers

bringing along foxes unleashed

a mammoth erroneous jungle.

In the daggers planted

deep into the back

blood is oozing still.

Even he victorious in the battle-field

is defeated in dramas staged

Go away

Just don’t be go anywhere near

this demonic wilderness

It is where all things righteous

are butchered and buried.

பொய் விருந்து

மேசையெங்கும் கசப்பின் நெடி.

குவளையில் துரோகத்தின் அமிலம்

தட்டில் காழ்ப்பின் எலும்புகள்.

முகங்களில் நஞ்சின் புன்னகை.

கீழே பாம்பின் கால்கள்.

இந்தச் சமாதானத்தை

யார் ஒழுங்கு படுத்தியது?

நரிகளை அவிழ்த்துக் கொண்டு வரும்

சூனியக்காரரின் விழிகளில்

மாபெரும் பொய்க் காடு.

முதுகில் ஆழ இறக்கிய கத்திகளில்

இன்னமும்

இரத்தம் கசிந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

போரில் வெல்கிறவன் கூட

நாடகங்களில் தோற்கடிக்கப்படுகிறான்.

இந்தப்

பேய்க் காட்டை அண்டாதே!

அறத்தைப் புதைக்கிற கொல்லிடமது.

Upon meticulous precision sits

the giant rock

a tiny egg

rolls on the tip of knife

As long as it doesn’t break

well and good

the doors not opened

turn into list of assets

The violin strings

not played

weigh heavy

prove suffocating

some fish are destined to become

‘Karuvaadu’.

Paintings incomprehensible

Are pregnant with meaning.

Leave it.

Let it be.

ஒரு நுணுக்கத்தின் மீது

உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறது பெரும் பாறை.

கத்தியின் விளிம்பில் உருள்கிறது

சிறு முட்டை.

உடையாத வரை நிம்மதி.

திறக்காத கதவுகள் தோம்பாகின்றன.

வாசிக்கப்படாத

வயலின் கம்பிகளின் கனத்தில்

மூச்சு முட்டுகிறது.

சில மீன்கள்

கருவாடாகுவதே விதி.

புரியாத சித்திரங்களுக்கு

பொருள் அதிகம்.

விட்டு விடு. இருக்கட்டும்.
