‘It’s over; let ‘s call it a day’

Thinking so

He sees the old images in the milky-way

of the computer screen

All of them _

Smile Supreme

The shining silver paper

wrapping the candies

winking delicately

Experiencing a quiver of ecstasy

upon the cheek bone

he crawls on as an earthworm

Viewing the photographs

that extend one’s life-span

there peeps tears through the eye-windows

Four-square images sway their heads

in the past

A boy and a girl

masquerading as adults

close to one another

Two different planets

do look lovely together

He probes through the powerful telescope

of reason

In the old shrunken text that he

could access

raging summer that scorched

the trail of tremor

before the ensuing schism.

still

shoots afresh

wish to sprout.

இனி

இனி அவ்வளவுதான் பிரிந்துவிடலாமென நினைத்து

கணினியின் பால்வெள்ளி ஒளித்திரையில்

பழைய புகைப்படங்களைப் பார்க்கிறான்

அத்தனையும் பச்சரிப் புன்னகைகள்

மிட்டாய்களைச் சுற்றிய சரிகைத்தாள்கள்

அத்தனையும் நளினமாய் கண்சிமிட்ட

கன்னத்து மேட்டில் இனம்புரியா புளகாங்கிதம்

ஒரு மண்புழுவைப் போல ஊர்கிறான்

ஆயுளை நீட்டிக்கும் புகைப்படங்களின் மீது

விழி ஜன்னலிலிருந்து கண்ணீர் எட்டிப்பார்க்க

நாற்சதுர பிம்பங்கள் கடந்தகாலத்தில் தலையசைகின்றன

ஒரு சிறுவனும் சிறுமியும் பெரியவர்களின் முகமூடிகளில்

அருகருகே இருவேறு கிரகங்கள் அழகாய்த்தானிருக்கின்றன

தர்க்கத்தின் சக்திவாய்ந்த தொலைநோக்கி மூலம் ஆராய்கிறான்

வாசிக்கக் கிடைத்த பழைய கசங்கல் பிரதியில்

விரிசலுக்கு முன்கூட்டிய பூகம்பத்தின் தடயத்தை

காய்ந்த கடுங்கோடை – இருந்தும்

துளிர்க்க நினைக்கிறது புதிய குருத்துகள்
