POETRY IS HARMONY

Drawing a bird with a sharp pencil

When I made it wings to stir

At first it takes the sheet of paper to be the sky.

Then beginning to fly all over the sheet of paper

As the bird experienced nothing but void

Deciding to move out

It enters inside a poem.

Seeing the humans and fellow species there

It feels happy.

Also

Realizing the existence of a world

Inside the poem

When it resolved to stay there for ever

All those forty-eight words in it

Alighted and were talking to the bird.

When i finished writing

That Poetry means

the Baby-walker training one to lead life

or the path harmonizing all kinds of love

the reader got into poetry

mysteriously

.

கவிதை என்றால் ஒன்றிணைப்பு

கூர்மையான பென்சிலால்

பறவையொன்றை வரைந்து

அதன் சிறகுகளை

அசைய விடும் போது

காகிதத்தை முதலில் வானமாக நினைக்கிறது

பின்பு காகிதம் முழுக்க

பறக்கத் துவங்கிய பறவை

வெறுமையை மாத்திரம் அனுபவித்ததால்

வெளியேறுவதாக தீர்மானித்த அப்பறவை

கவிதையொன்றினுள் நுழைகிறது

பின்பு

கவிதைக்குள் நடமாடித்திரியும்

மனிதர்களையும்

சக இனங்களையும் கண்டு

மகிழ்வு கொள்கிறது

மேலும்

கவிதைக்குள் ஒரு உலகம்

இயங்கிக் கொண்டிருப்பதை

உணர்ந்து

நிரந்தரமாக வசிப்பதற்கு

முடிவு செய்தபோது

இதிலுள்ளே நாற்பத்தியெட்டு சொற்களும் கீழிறங்கி

பறவையோடு பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தன

கவிதை என்றால்

வாழ்க்கையை நடத்தப்பழக்கும் நடைவண்டி

அல்லது ப்ரியங்களை ஒன்றிணைக்கும் பாதை என்பதை

எழுதி முடித்தபோது

வாசகன் மாயமாக

கவிதைக்குள் நுழைந்தான்.
