My joy was immense
More than fear
My dreams proved massive
With the whirl of Time
Life has made me shed tears
many a time.
Still...
It couldn’t remove my smile
Life has smashed my heart
Yet...
It couldn’t snatch my soul
Life has belied hopes many
But my dreams it couldn’t destroy any
Taking the Sun inside me
wherever I go
I make the spot glow.
That becomes my smile, you know....
In my living days
with strength serene
spreading the light of my love
creating an inner quietude
I provide solace to
Hearts aggrieved.
Through times that go past
Life causes changes in me
and so move on
So what...
my heart
never grows old...!
Filling the holes of bamboos
with the music of my love...
as the flower
that blooms day after day
spreading its scent all the way
and wither
I live on now and ever.
பிள்ளைப்பருவத்தில்
எனது மகிழ்ச்சி
எல்லையற்றதாக இருந்தது..
பயங்களை விட
எனது கனவுகள்
பெரிதாக இருந்தது..
காலத்தின் சுழற்சியில்
வாழ்க்கை என்னை
பல முறை கண்ணீர்
சிந்த வைத்துவிட்டது...
எனினும்..
அதனால் என் புன்னகையை
அகற்ற இயலவில்லை.
வாழ்க்கை என் இதயத்தை
உடைத்துவிட்டது..
எனினும்..
அதனால் என் ஆன்மாவை
பறிக்க இயலவில்லை…
வாழ்க்கை என்னிடமிருந்து
பல நம்பிக்கைகளைத்
பொய்ப்பித்துவிட்டது..
எனினும்
அதனால் என் கனவுகளைக்
அழிக்க முடியவில்லை..
என்னுள் ஒளிரும்
கதிரவனை
நான் செல்லும்
இடமெல்லாம்
அதன் ஒளியால்
மிளிரச்செய்கின்றேன்..
அது என் புன்னகை
என ஆகிறது..
வாழும் எனது நாட்களில்
அமைதியான ஆற்றலால்
எனது நேசத்தின் ஒளியை வீசி
ஓர் உள் மெளனத்தை
உருவாக்கி
துயருற்ற உள்ளங்களை
ஆறுதல்படுத்துகிறேன்..
கடந்து செல்லும்
காலங்கள் வழி
வாழ்க்கை என்னுள்
மாற்றங்களை நிகழ்த்தி
செல்கிறது…
ஆயினும் என்ன…
என் இதயத்திற்கு
ஒருபோதும்
வயதாவதில்லை..!
மூங்கில்களின் துளைகளில்
என் காதல் மனதின்
இசையை இசைத்து…
நித்தம் மலர்ந்து
மணம் பரப்பி
உதிர்ந்து மடியும்
மலரெனவே
வாழ்கிறேன்.
